Requirements for CCPA Notices

Your business's Privacy Center and individual privacy notices are automatically designed to satisfy the following requirements in the CCPA:

• Describe consumers' rights and how to exercise them
• Disclose the information your business collects, shares, and sells, including the categories of parties disclosed to
• Use plain, straightforward language and avoid legal jargon
• Use a format that draws the consumer’s attention to the notice and makes it readable, including on small screens
• Accessible to consumers with disabilities, including following generally recognized industry standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1 of June 5, 2018 from the World Wide Web Consortium
• Provide information on how a consumer with a disability may access the notice
• Incorporate a toll-free number (for businesses with a physical presence in California)
• Includes a “last updated” date for your Privacy Policy (this will appear when it gets published via the Privacy Center)
